Tom Ebbutt
Tom Ebbutt was previously the Managing Director of On Purpose, leading its work in London, Paris and Berlin. Prior to joining On Purpose Tom worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Ambition Institute - formerly Ambition School Leadership - where he was part of the team which grew the organisation from £2m to £18m turnover and from 17 to 200 team members. He also worked as a Venture Partner at Ark Ventures, supporting the growth of high-impact social purpose organisations. An On Purpose Fellow, Tom was a member of the 2011 cohort of the On Purpose London Associate programme. Before taking part in the Associate programme he worked at Deloitte Consulting, spending time with a range of organisations across the public, private and third sectors. He is a trustee of the Social Market Foundation and Tempo Time Credits, and a former local councillor. Tom holds a degree in History from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified accountant.
