Catherine You
Catherine joins On Purpose after working at Project Ploughshares, a non-governmental organization that works to advance policies to prevent war and armed violence. While at Project Ploughshares, she researched armed conflicts and worked on public outreach. Prior to this, Catherine spent two years at Ernst and Young in their IT Risk and Advisory Services. During this time, she conducted audits of IT systems and provided services in information management and analysis. A native of Canada, Catherine holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Combinatorics and Optimization and a Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies, both from the University of Waterloo. During her studies, Catherine also worked at Sapient, Defence Research and Development Canada, and L’Arche.
